Florida researchers say that Vista, Microsoft’s newest operating system, is outperformed by the older XP. A benchmark test, composed of a variety of tasks using Microsoft Office 2007, took the test computer running Vista 80 seconds to run compared with only 35 seconds for the XP machine.
