Bella Vista’s Miles reaches pole vault finals (The Sacramento Bee)

Bella Vista High School graduate Derek Miles cleared 18 feet 6 1/2 inches today to join 12 others in advancing to the men’s pole vault final at the Olympic Games in Beijing.
