ALTA VISTA (AP) - Authorities say a 1-year-old boy died after he was hit by a skid loader at his family’s home in Alta Vista in northeast Iowa. The Chickasaw County sheriff’s office says Samuel Zimmerman was struck by the equipment on Saturday, and he died at the scene.
