VISTA —- A car slammed into a telephone pole Monday, causing a brief power outage and backing up traffic for nearly two hours, sheriff’s Lt. Anthony Ray said. The crash occurred in the 200 block of South Emerald Drive at about 4:45 p.m., Ray said.
